The people who make your parts are the heart of our business. We look after their health as carefully as we look after the quality of every component.
Health surveillance
We keep a close eye on our team's health
Working in a machine shop can affect the skin and lungs over time, so we do not wait for problems to appear. We arrange health monitoring for our employees, carried out by external experts, including dermatological checks of the skin and lung function testing using spirometry.
If a check shows something that needs a closer look, we refer the employee to their GP.
Respiratory protection
Face-fit testing and training
A mask only protects you if it fits. Where respiratory protection is needed, external experts carry out face-fit testing so that each person wears a mask that seals properly on their face.
The same experts train our team in how to fit, use and look after their masks, so that the protection works every time.
Hazardous waste
Handled and disposed of correctly
Machining produces coolants and cutting fluids that must never be treated as ordinary waste. We manage these as hazardous waste and make sure they are handled and disposed of correctly, protecting our people and the environment.
